Gathering of the Cousins

Christopher got a chance to meet his other cousins, Kelsey and Dylan. Dylan was quite keen to make sure that nothing was forgotten and took a couple of pictures. I think I'm going to edit them all together and we should be able to get a movie of the whole day. It was wonderful to spend time with Judy and the kids, hopefully we can convince George to join us next time.

While Judy and the kids were out here we went through to see the rest of the family and got a picture with all the cousins. It'll be interesting to see a similar picture in a couple of years and see how things have changed. For those of you who don't know, those are Caryl and Rod's children, Rory and Bryoni.

The Soccer (Football for all you plebs) World Cup is now over and Christopher did his best to help England win, he was there supporting, shaking his arms, gurgling and drooling. Just like all the other England supporters. I think it might have helped England more if he volunteered to take the penalty kicks though. At least the final was too late for him to watch so he didn't see Zidane's head-but, what a butt-head!
Last night was the first night that he slept through the night, 10 1/2 weeks. So let's hope this is an indication of things to come and we can expect more full nights of sleep. We are also going to start moving him into his own room next week, or maybe the week after. Life will return to a semblance of order.

This working from home I'm finding quite tough. Jenny comes in around 6pm if I'm still working and dumps Christopher in my arms. Subtle hint to stop working. My biggest problem is wanting to work longer hours, I also tend to get a bit of cabin fever and need to get out and see if the rest of the world still exists, sometimes I'm convinced that the rest of the world was only put there for me, so if I don't check on it, it might disappear. So everyday I literally save the world from destruction. Hmm, maybe I need to open window in here, the oxygen levels must be getting low, I'm rambling and losing touch with reality. Nothing so unusual some would say!

Well I'll try to post a few more pictures fairly soon, I think there are quite a few on the camera we haven't copied off.

PS Christopher's College Fund is now at $27.94 or 2,837,680 Zimbabwe Dollar.
